📘 ADJECTIVES – DEGREES

Adjectives के तीन प्रकार के Degrees होते हैं:

1️⃣ Positive Degree (साधारण / मूल रूप)

2️⃣ Comparative Degree (तुलनात्मक)

3️⃣ Superlative Degree (अत्यधिक / सर्वोच्च)

1️⃣ POSITIVE DEGREE (साधारण / मूल रूप)

✅ Definition:

Adjective का साधारण रूप जो किसी noun या pronoun की quality को बताता है।

✅ Formula:

Adjective + Noun

(विशेषण + संज्ञा)

2️⃣ COMPARATIVE DEGREE (तुलनात्मक)

✅ Definition:

जब दो nouns या pronouns की quality की तुलना की जाती है।

✅ Formula:

For short adjectives (1 syllable):

Adjective + er + than + Noun

For adjectives ending in “y”:

Adjective (y→i) + er + than + Noun

For long adjectives (2+ syllables):

more + Adjective + than + Noun

29. He is richer than his cousin. (वह अपने चचेरे भाई से अमीर है।)

30. The teacher is stricter than before. (अध्यापक पहले से अधिक कड़क हैं।)

3️⃣ SUPERLATIVE DEGREE (सर्वोच्च / अत्यधिक)

✅ Definition:

जब किसी noun या pronoun के maximum / highest quality को दर्शाना हो।

✅ Formula:

For short adjectives (1 syllable):

The + Adjective + est + Noun

For adjectives ending in “y”:

The + Adjective (y→i) + est + Noun

For long adjectives (2+ syllables):

The most + Adjective + Noun
