1. Present Simple (Active & Passive)

Active Rule: Sub + V1 (s/es) + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + is/am/are + V3 + by + Sub

He eats an apple. – वह सेब खाता है। / An apple is eaten by him. – उसके द्वारा सेब खाया जाता है।

I write a letter. – मैं पत्र लिखता हूँ। / A letter is written by me. – मेरे द्वारा पत्र लिखा जाता है।

They play cricket. – वे क्रिकेट खेलते हैं। / Cricket is played by them. – उनके द्वारा क्रिकेट खेला जाता है।

She cleans the room. – वह कमरा साफ करती है। / The room is cleaned by her. – कमरा उसके द्वारा साफ किया जाता है।

We speak English. – हम अंग्रेजी बोलते हैं। / English is spoken by us. – हमारे द्वारा अंग्रेजी बोली जाती है।

Do you drink milk? – क्या आप दूध पीते हैं? / Is milk drunk by you? – क्या आपके द्वारा दूध पिया जाता है?

He does not tell a lie. – वह झूठ नहीं बोलता। / A lie is not told by him. – उसके द्वारा झूठ नहीं बोला जाता।

Who teaches you? – तुम्हें कौन पढ़ाता है? / By whom are you taught? – तुम किसके द्वारा पढ़ाए जाते हो?

She helps the poor. – वह गरीबों की मदद करती है। / The poor are helped by her. – गरीबों की मदद उसके द्वारा की जाती है।

Birds build nests. – पक्षी घोंसले बनाते हैं। / Nests are built by birds. – पक्षियों द्वारा घोंसले बनाए जाते हैं।

I know him. – मैं उसे जानता हूँ। / He is known to me. – वह मेरे द्वारा जाना जाता है।

2. Past Simple (Active & Passive)

Active Rule: Sub + V2 + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + was/were + V3 + by + Sub

 

He broke the glass. – उसने गिलास तोड़ा। / The glass was broken by him. – गिलास उसके द्वारा तोड़ा गया।

She wrote a poem. – उसने एक कविता लिखी। / A poem was written by her. – उसके द्वारा एक कविता लिखी गई।

I invited them. – मैंने उन्हें आमंत्रित किया। / They were invited by me. – उन्हें मेरे द्वारा आमंत्रित किया गया।

They built a house. – उन्होंने घर बनाया। / A house was built by them. – उनके द्वारा घर बनाया गया।

Did you see him? – क्या आपने उसे देखा? / Was he seen by you? – क्या वह आपके द्वारा देखा गया?

We won the match. – हमने मैच जीता। / The match was won by us. – मैच हमारे द्वारा जीता गया।

He didn’t buy fruit. – उसने फल नहीं खरीदे। / Fruits were not bought by him. – उसके द्वारा फल नहीं खरीदे गए।

She stole my pen. – उसने मेरा पेन चुराया। / My pen was stolen by her. – मेरा पेन उसके द्वारा चुराया गया।

I finished the task. – मैंने काम पूरा किया। / The task was finished by me. – मेरे द्वारा काम पूरा किया गया।

The police caught the thief. – पुलिस ने चोर को पकड़ा। / The thief was caught by the police. – पुलिस द्वारा चोर पकड़ा गया।

Who called you? – तुम्हें किसने बुलाया? / By whom were you called? – तुम किसके द्वारा बुलाए गए?

They planted trees. – उन्होंने पेड़ लगाए। / Trees were planted by them. – उनके द्वारा पेड़ लगाए गए।

I didn’t push him. – मैंने उसे धक्का नहीं दिया। / He was not pushed by me. – उसे मेरे द्वारा धक्का नहीं दिया गया।

3. Continuous Tenses (Present & Past)

Rule: Obj + is/am/are/was/were + being + V3 + by + Sub

 

He is playing chess. – वह शतरंज खेल रहा है। / Chess is being played by him. – शतरंज उसके द्वारा खेला जा रहा है।

She is cooking rice. – वह चावल बना रही है। / Rice is being cooked by her. – चावल उसके द्वारा बनाए जा रहे हैं।

They are building a bridge. – वे पुल बना रहे हैं। / A bridge is being built by them. – उनके द्वारा पुल बनाया जा रहा है।

I am reading a novel. – मैं उपन्यास पढ़ रहा हूँ। / A novel is being read by me. – मेरे द्वारा उपन्यास पढ़ा जा रहा है।

You are wasting time. – आप समय बर्बाद कर रहे हैं। / Time is being wasted by you. – समय आपके द्वारा बर्बाद किया जा रहा है।

Is he flying a kite? – क्या वह पतंग उड़ा रहा है? / Is a kite being flown by him? – क्या उसके द्वारा पतंग उड़ाई जा रही है?

We are watching a movie. – हम फिल्म देख रहे हैं। / A movie is being watched by us. – हमारे द्वारा फिल्म देखी जा रही है।

She was cleaning the floor. – वह फर्श साफ कर रही थी। / The floor was being cleaned by her. – फर्श उसके द्वारा साफ किया जा रहा था।

They were singing songs. – वे गाने गा रहे थे। / Songs were being sung by them. – उनके द्वारा गाने गाए जा रहे थे।

I was not making a noise. – मैं शोर नहीं कर रहा था। / A noise was not being made by me. – मेरे द्वारा शोर नहीं किया जा रहा था।

Were you painting a picture? – क्या तुम चित्र बना रहे थे? / Was a picture being painted by you? – क्या तुम्हारे द्वारा चित्र बनाया जा रहा था?

He is repairing the car. – वह कार ठीक कर रहा है। / The car is being repaired by him. – कार उसके द्वारा ठीक की जा रही है।

Someone is following us. – कोई हमारा पीछा कर रहा है। / We are being followed. – हमारा पीछा किया जा रहा है।

Who is making tea? – चाय कौन बना रहा है? / By whom is tea being made? – चाय किसके द्वारा बनाई जा रही है?

Children are making dolls. – बच्चे गुड़िया बना रहे हैं। / Dolls are being made by children. – बच्चों द्वारा गुड़िया बनाई जा रही हैं।

Why are you calling me? – तुम मुझे क्यों बुला रहे हो? / Why am I being called by you? – मुझे तुम्हारे द्वारा क्यों बुलाया जा रहा है?

He was carrying a bag. – वह बैग ले जा रहा था। / A bag was being carried by him. – बैग उसके द्वारा ले जाया जा रहा था।

We were enjoying the rain. – हम बारिश का आनंद ले रहे थे। / The rain was being enjoyed by us. – हमारे द्वारा बारिश का आनंद लिया जा रहा था।

She is knitting a sweater. – वह स्वेटर बुन रही है। / A sweater is being knitted by her. – उसके द्वारा स्वेटर बुना जा रहा है।

They are cutting trees. – वे पेड़ काट रहे हैं। / Trees are being cut by them. – उनके द्वारा पेड़ काटे जा रहे हैं।

 

4. Present Perfect (Active & Passive)

Active Rule: Sub + has/have + V3 + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + has/have + been + V3 + by + Sub

 

I have finished the task. – मैंने काम पूरा कर लिया है। / The task has been finished by me. – मेरे द्वारा काम पूरा कर लिया गया है।

She has invited us. – उसने हमें आमंत्रित किया है। / We have been invited by her. – हमें उसके द्वारा आमंत्रित किया गया है।

They have won the match. – उन्होंने मैच जीत लिया है। / The match has been won by them. – मैच उनके द्वारा जीत लिया गया है।

Have you seen the Taj Mahal? – क्या आपने ताजमहल देखा है? / Has the Taj Mahal been seen by you? – क्या आपके द्वारा ताजमहल देखा गया है?

He has lost his wallet. – उसने अपना बटुआ खो दिया है। / His wallet has been lost by him. – उसका बटुआ उसके द्वारा खो दिया गया है।

We have bought a new car. – हमने एक नई कार खरीदी है। / A new car has been bought by us. – हमारे द्वारा एक नई कार खरीदी गई है।

She hasn’t cooked food. – उसने खाना नहीं बनाया है। / Food hasn’t been cooked by her. – उसके द्वारा खाना नहीं बनाया गया है।

Someone has stolen my pen. – किसी ने मेरा पेन चुरा लिया है। / My pen has been stolen. – मेरा पेन चुरा लिया गया है।

They have built a bridge. – उन्होंने एक पुल बनाया है। / A bridge has been built by them. – उनके द्वारा एक पुल बनाया गया है।

I have sent the email. – मैंने ईमेल भेज दिया है। / The email has been sent by me. – मेरे द्वारा ईमेल भेज दिया गया है।

Has he completed the course? – क्या उसने कोर्स पूरा कर लिया है? / Has the course been completed by him? – क्या उसके द्वारा कोर्स पूरा कर लिया गया है?

Scientists have discovered a star. – वैज्ञानिकों ने एक तारा खोजा है। / A star has been discovered by scientists. – वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा एक तारा खोजा गया है।

You have broken the record. – आपने रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया है। / The record has been broken by you. – आपके द्वारा रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया गया है।

She has written a story. – उसने एक कहानी लिखी है। / A story has been written by her. – उसके द्वारा एक कहानी लिखी गई है।

We have reached the station. – हम स्टेशन पहुँच गए हैं। / The station has been reached by us. – हमारे द्वारा स्टेशन पहुँच लिया गया है।

They have sold the house. – उन्होंने घर बेच दिया है। / The house has been sold by them. – उनके द्वारा घर बेच दिया गया है।

I have told the truth. – मैंने सच बोल दिया है। / The truth has been told by me. – मेरे द्वारा सच बोल दिया गया है।

He has played his part. – उसने अपनी भूमिका निभाई है। / His part has been played by him. – उसके द्वारा उसकी भूमिका निभाई गई है।

Have they called you? – क्या उन्होंने तुम्हें बुलाया है? / Have you been called by them? – क्या तुम्हें उनके द्वारा बुलाया गया है?

The storm has destroyed the trees. – तूफान ने पेड़ों को नष्ट कर दिया है। / The trees have been destroyed by the storm. – पेड़ों को तूफान द्वारा नष्ट कर दिया गया है।

 

5. Past Perfect (Active & Passive)

Active Rule: Sub + had + V3 + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + had + been + V3 + by + Sub

 

I had read the book. – मैंने किताब पढ़ ली थी। / The book had been read by me. – मेरे द्वारा किताब पढ़ ली गई थी।

She had cleaned the room. – उसने कमरा साफ कर दिया था। / The room had been cleaned by her. – कमरा उसके द्वारा साफ कर दिया गया था।

They had already left the city. – वे पहले ही शहर छोड़ चुके थे। / The city had been left by them. – उनके द्वारा शहर छोड़ दिया गया था।

Had you seen him before? – क्या आपने उसे पहले देखा था? / Had he been seen by you before? – क्या वह आपके द्वारा पहले देखा गया था?

He had written a letter. – उसने एक पत्र लिखा था। / A letter had been written by him. – उसके द्वारा एक पत्र लिखा गया था।

Active Rule: Sub + will have + V3 + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + will have been + V3 + by + Sub

 

I will have finished the work. – मैं काम खत्म कर चुका हूँगा। / The work will have been finished by me. – काम मेरे द्वारा खत्म कर लिया गया होगा।

She will have cooked dinner. – वह रात का खाना बना चुकी होगी। / Dinner will have been cooked by her. – रात का खाना उसके द्वारा बना लिया गया होगा।

They will have reached home. – वे घर पहुँच चुके होंगे। / Home will have been reached by them. – उनके द्वारा घर पहुँच लिया गया होगा।

We will have bought a car. – हमने एक कार खरीद ली होगी। / A car will have been bought by us. – हमारे द्वारा एक कार खरीद ली गई होगी।

He will have sent the file. – उसने फाइल भेज दी होगी। / The file will have been sent by him. – फाइल उसके द्वारा भेज दी गई होगी।

Will you have seen the news? – क्या आपने खबर देख ली होगी? / Will the news have been seen by you? – क्या आपके द्वारा खबर देख ली गई होगी?

I will have written a book. – मैं एक किताब लिख चुका हूँगा। / A book will have been written by me. – मेरे द्वारा एक किताब लिख ली गई होगी।

She will have cleaned the house. – वह घर साफ कर चुकी होगी। / The house will have been cleaned by her. – उसके द्वारा घर साफ कर लिया गया होगा।

They will have sold the old car. – उन्होंने पुरानी कार बेच दी होगी। / The old car will have been sold by them. – उनके द्वारा पुरानी कार बेच दी गई होगी।

We will have won the game. – हम खेल जीत चुके होंगे। / The game will have been won by us. – हमारे द्वारा खेल जीत लिया गया होगा।

He will have completed the project. – वह प्रोजेक्ट पूरा कर चुका होगा। / The project will have been completed by him. – उसके द्वारा प्रोजेक्ट पूरा कर लिया गया होगा।

By tomorrow, I will have read it. – कल तक मैं इसे पढ़ चुका हूँगा। / It will have been read by me by tomorrow. – कल तक यह मेरे द्वारा पढ़ लिया गया होगा।

She will have passed the exam. – वह परीक्षा पास कर चुकी होगी। / The exam will have been passed by her. – उसके द्वारा परीक्षा पास कर ली गई होगी।

They will have found a solution. – उन्हें समाधान मिल गया होगा। / A solution will have been found by them. – उनके द्वारा समाधान खोज लिया गया होगा।

I will have paid the rent. – मैंने किराया भर दिया होगा। / The rent will have been paid by me. – किराया मेरे द्वारा भर दिया गया होगा।

You will have finished the course. – आपने कोर्स पूरा कर लिया होगा। / The course will have been finished by you. – आपके द्वारा कोर्स पूरा कर लिया गया होगा।

The artist will have painted it. – कलाकार इसे चित्रित कर चुका होगा। / It will have been painted by the artist. – यह कलाकार द्वारा चित्रित किया गया होगा।

We will have informed them. – हमने उन्हें सूचित कर दिया होगा। / They will have been informed by us. – उन्हें हमारे द्वारा सूचित कर दिया गया होगा।

He will have received the gift. – उसे उपहार मिल गया होगा। / The gift will have been received by him. – उसके द्वारा उपहार प्राप्त कर लिया गया होगा।

7. Modal Verbs (Can, Must, Should, etc.)

Active Rule: Sub + Modal + V1 + Obj

Passive Rule: Obj + Modal + be + V3 + by + Sub

 

I can do this work. – मैं यह काम कर सकता हूँ। / This work can be done by me. – यह काम मेरे द्वारा किया जा सकता है।

You must follow rules. – आपको नियमों का पालन करना चाहिए। / Rules must be followed by you. – नियमों का पालन आपके द्वारा किया जाना चाहिए।

She should help him. – उसे उसकी मदद करनी चाहिए। / He should be helped by her. – उसकी मदद उसके द्वारा की जानी चाहिए।

They may win the game. – वे खेल जीत सकते हैं। / The game may be won by them. – खेल उनके द्वारा जीता जा सकता है।

We might buy a car. – हम कार खरीद सकते हैं। / A car might be bought by us. – हमारे द्वारा कार खरीदी जा सकती है।

Can you solve this? – क्या आप इसे हल कर सकते हैं? / Can this be solved by you? – क्या यह आपके द्वारा हल किया जा सकता है?

He could not lift the box. – वह बॉक्स नहीं उठा सका। / The box could not be lifted by him. – बॉक्स उसके द्वारा नहीं उठाया जा सका।

You ought to respect elders. – आपको बड़ों का सम्मान करना चाहिए। / Elders ought to be respected by you. – बड़ों का सम्मान आपके द्वारा किया जाना चाहिए।

We must protect nature. – हमें प्रकृति की रक्षा करनी चाहिए। / Nature must be protected by us. – प्रकृति की रक्षा हमारे द्वारा की जानी चाहिए।

She can sing Hindi songs. – वह हिंदी गाने गा सकती है। / Hindi songs can be sung by her. – उसके द्वारा हिंदी गाने गाए जा सकते हैं।

They should clean the city. – उन्हें शहर साफ करना चाहिए। / The city should be cleaned by them. – उनके द्वारा शहर साफ किया जाना चाहिए।

Might he finish the work? – क्या वह काम खत्म कर सकता है? / Might the work be finished by him? – क्या काम उसके द्वारा खत्म किया जा सकता है?

You can’t touch this. – तुम इसे नहीं छू सकते। / This can’t be touched by you. – यह तुम्हारे द्वारा नहीं छुआ जा सकता।

Everyone should plant trees. – हर किसी को पेड़ लगाने चाहिए। / Trees should be planted by everyone. – पेड़ हर किसी के द्वारा लगाए जाने चाहिए।

He could drive the bus. – वह बस चला सकता था। / The bus could be driven by him. – बस उसके द्वारा चलाई जा सकती थी।

Can we fix the TV? – क्या हम टीवी ठीक कर सकते हैं? / Can the TV be fixed by us? – क्या टीवी हमारे द्वारा ठीक किया जा सकता है?

They must pay the fine. – उन्हें जुर्माना भरना होगा। / The fine must be paid by them. – उनके द्वारा जुर्माना भरा जाना चाहिए।

She would help you. – वह तुम्हारी मदद करेगी। / You would be helped by her. – तुम्हें उसके द्वारा मदद मिलेगी।

We can win the trophy. – हम ट्रॉफी जीत सकते हैं। / The trophy can be won by us. – ट्रॉफी हमारे द्वारा जीती जा सकती है।

Should I open the window? – क्या मुझे खिड़की खोलनी चाहिए? / Should the window be opened by me? – क्या खिड़की मेरे द्वारा खोली जानी चाहिए?

 

8. Imperative & Optative Sentences

Imperative: Let + Obj + be + V3 (or using “You are requested/ordered to”)

Optative: (Expressing wishes – usually converted into indirect speech, but for passive, we focus on the object).

Open the door. – दरवाजा खोलो। / Let the door be opened. – दरवाजा खोल दिया जाए।

Close your eyes. – अपनी आँखें बंद करो। / Let your eyes be closed. – अपनी आँखें बंद कर ली जाएं।

Help the needy. – जरूरतमंदों की मदद करें। / Let the needy be helped. – जरूरतमंदों की मदद की जाए।

Do not tell a lie. – झूठ मत बोलो। / Let a lie not be told. – झूठ न बोला जाए।

Switch off the light. – लाइट बंद करो। / Let the light be switched off. – लाइट बंद कर दी जाए।

Please help me. – कृपया मेरी मदद करें। / You are requested to help me. – आपसे मेरी मदद करने का अनुरोध है।

Stand up. – खड़े हो जाओ। / You are ordered to stand up. – आपको खड़े होने का आदेश दिया जाता है।

Bring a glass of water. – एक गिलास पानी लाओ। / Let a glass of water be brought. – एक गिलास पानी लाया जाए।

Respect your parents. – माता-पिता का सम्मान करें। / You are advised to respect parents. – आपको माता-पिता का सम्मान करने की सलाह दी जाती है।

Do it now. – इसे अभी करो। / Let it be done now. – इसे अभी किया जाए।

Don’t touch the wire. – तार मत छुओ। / Let the wire not be touched. – तार न छुआ जाए।

Get out of the class. – क्लास से बाहर जाओ। / You are ordered to get out. – आपको बाहर जाने का आदेश दिया जाता है।

Kindly grant me leave. – कृपया मुझे छुट्टी दें। / You are requested to grant me leave. – आपसे छुट्टी देने का अनुरोध है।

Always speak the truth. – हमेशा सच बोलो। / Let the truth always be spoken. – हमेशा सच बोला जाए।

He avoids being seen. – वह देखे जाने से बचता है। / He avoids being seen. – वह देखे जाने से बचता है।

16. Verbs followed by “Bare Infinitive” (Make, Help, Let)

Rule: Some verbs don’t use “to” in active voice but MUST use “to” in passive voice (except for ‘let’).

 

He made me laugh. – उसने मुझे हँसाया। / I was made to laugh by him. – मुझे उसके द्वारा हँसाया गया।

She helped me carry the bag. – उसने बैग ले जाने में मेरी मदद की। / I was helped to carry the bag by her. – बैग ले जाने में उसके द्वारा मेरी मदद की गई।

They let me go. – उन्होंने मुझे जाने दिया। / I was let go by them. – मुझे उनके द्वारा जाने दिया गया। (Note: ‘to’ is not used with ‘let’)

I saw him cross the road. – मैंने उसे सड़क पार करते देखा। / He was seen to cross the road. – उसे सड़क पार करते हुए देखा गया।

We heard her sing. – हमने उसे गाते सुना। / She was heard to sing. – उसे गाते हुए सुना गया।

He made the child cry. – उसने बच्चे को रुलाया। / The child was made to cry by him. – बच्चे को उसके द्वारा रुलाया गया।

She helped him finish the work. – उसने काम खत्म करने में उसकी मदद की। / He was helped to finish the work by her. – उसे उसके द्वारा काम खत्म करने में मदद मिली।

They bid him leave. – उन्होंने उसे जाने को कहा। / He was bidden to leave. – उसे जाने के लिए कहा गया।

I made him understand. – मैंने उसे समझाया। / He was made to understand by me. – उसे मेरे द्वारा समझाया गया।

She let him stay. – उसने उसे रुकने दिया। / He was let stay by her. – उसे उसके द्वारा रुकने दिया गया।

We saw the thief run. – हमने चोर को भागते देखा। / The thief was seen to run. – चोर को भागते देखा गया।

I heard the bell ring. – मैंने घंटी बजते सुनी। / The bell was heard to ring. – घंटी को बजते हुए सुना गया।

He helped me solve the sum. – उसने सवाल हल करने में मेरी मदद की। / I was helped to solve the sum by him. – मेरी उसके द्वारा सवाल हल करने में मदद की गई।

She made us wait. – उसने हमें इंतज़ार करवाया। / We were made to wait by her. – हमें उसके द्वारा इंतज़ार करवाया गया।

They saw the sun rise. – उन्होंने सूरज को उगते देखा। / The sun was seen to rise. – सूरज को उगते हुए देखा गया।

I let her speak. – मैंने उसे बोलने दिया। / She was let speak by me. – उसे मेरे द्वारा बोलने दिया गया।

He helped the old man walk. – उसने बूढ़े आदमी को चलने में मदद की। / The old man was helped to walk by him. – बूढ़े आदमी की उसके द्वारा चलने में मदद की गई।

She made him clean the floor. – उसने उससे फर्श साफ करवाया। / He was made to clean the floor by her. – उससे उसके द्वारा फर्श साफ करवाया गया।

We heard the baby cry. – हमने बच्चे को रोते सुना। / The baby was heard to cry. – बच्चे को रोते हुए सुना गया।

They let the bird fly. – उन्होंने पक्षी को उड़ने दिया। / The bird was let fly by them. – पक्षी को उनके द्वारा उड़ने दिया गया।

 

17. Miscellaneous & Compound Sentences

 

Rule: When a sentence has two parts joined by ‘and’ or ‘but’, both parts must be changed to passive.

He wrote a letter and posted it. – उसने एक पत्र लिखा और उसे पोस्ट किया। / A letter was written and (it was) posted by him. – एक पत्र उसके द्वारा लिखा गया और पोस्ट किया गया।

She cooked the food and served it. – उसने खाना बनाया और उसे परोसा। / The food was cooked and served by her. – खाना उसके द्वारा बनाया और परोसा गया।

They caught the thief and beat him. – उन्होंने चोर को पकड़ा और उसे पीटा। / The thief was caught and beaten by them. – चोर को उनके द्वारा पकड़ा और पीटा गया।

I bought a pen but lost it. – मैंने एक पेन खरीदा लेकिन उसे खो दिया। / A pen was bought by me but (it was) lost. – एक पेन मेरे द्वारा खरीदा गया लेकिन वह खो गया।

He opened the window and looked out. – उसने खिड़की खोली और बाहर देखा। / The window was opened and he looked out. – खिड़की उसके द्वारा खोली गई और उसने बाहर देखा। (Note: “looked out” is intransitive and remains active).

She sang a song and played the guitar. – उसने गाना गाया और गिटार बजाया। / A song was sung and the guitar was played by her. – उसके द्वारा गाना गाया गया और गिटार बजाया गया।

They built the house but didn’t paint it. – उन्होंने घर बनाया लेकिन उसे पेंट नहीं किया। / The house was built but not painted by them. – घर उनके द्वारा बनाया गया लेकिन पेंट नहीं किया गया।

I called him and thanked him. – मैंने उसे फोन किया और उसे धन्यवाद दिया। / He was called and thanked by me. – उसे मेरे द्वारा फोन किया गया और धन्यवाद दिया गया।

She cleaned the dishes and dried them. – उसने बर्तन साफ किए और उन्हें सुखाया। / The dishes were cleaned and dried by her. – बर्तन उसके द्वारा साफ और सुखाए गए।

He sold the car and bought a bike. – उसने कार बेची और बाइक खरीदी। / The car was sold and a bike was bought by him. – कार उसके द्वारा बेची गई और बाइक खरीदी गई।

They invited us but we didn’t go. – उन्होंने हमें आमंत्रित किया लेकिन हम नहीं गए। / We were invited by them but we didn’t go. – हमें उनके द्वारा आमंत्रित किया गया लेकिन हम नहीं गए।

I wrote the essay and submitted it. – मैंने निबंध लिखा और उसे जमा किया। / The essay was written and submitted by me. – निबंध मेरे द्वारा लिखा और जमा किया गया।

She plucked flowers and made a garland. – उसने फूल तोड़े और माला बनाई। / Flowers were plucked and a garland was made by her. – उसके द्वारा फूल तोड़े गए और माला बनाई गई।

He found the keys and opened the door. – उसे चाबियाँ मिलीं और उसने दरवाजा खोला। / The keys were found and the door was opened by him. – चाबियाँ उसके द्वारा पाई गईं और दरवाजा खोला गया।

They stole the jewels and hid them. – उन्होंने गहने चुराए और उन्हें छिपा दिया। / The jewels were stolen and hidden by them. – गहने उनके द्वारा चुराए और छिपाए गए।

I saw the movie and liked it. – मैंने फिल्म देखी और उसे पसंद किया। / The movie was seen and liked by me. – फिल्म मेरे द्वारा देखी और पसंद की गई।

She heard the news and told everyone. – उसने खबर सुनी और सबको बताया। / The news was heard and everyone was told by her. – खबर उसके द्वारा सुनी गई और सबको बताया गया।

He took the medicine and felt better. – उसने दवा ली और उसे बेहतर महसूस हुआ। / The medicine was taken by him and he felt better. – दवा उसके द्वारा ली गई और उसे बेहतर लगा।

They closed the shop and went home. – उन्होंने दुकान बंद की और घर चले गए। / The shop was closed by them and they went home. – दुकान उनके द्वारा बंद की गई और वे घर चले गए।

I met him and gave him the book. – मैं उससे मिला और उसे किताब दी। / He was met and the book was given to him by me. – उससे मुलाकात की गई और उसे मेरे द्वारा किताब दी गई।
