🔹 FINITE SENTENCES (सीमित क्रिया वाले वाक्य)

Definition: A finite sentence has a main verb that shows tense (past/present/future) and agrees with the subject.
👉 Definition:
ऐसी verb जो subject के अनुसार बदलती है और उसमें tense (समय) clear होता है।

🔹 INFINITIVE SENTENCES (असीम क्रिया / इनफिनिटिव वाले वाक्य)

Definition: An infinitive is the base form of a verb with “to” (to go, to eat). It does not show tense or subject agreement. An infinitive sentence contains at least one infinitive phrase acting as noun, adjective, or adverb.

👉 Definition:
ऐसी verb जो subject के अनुसार नहीं बदलती और उसमें tense fix नहीं होता।

👉 Types of Non-Finite Verbs:

Infinitive → to + verb
- I want to eat 🍔
Gerund → verb + ing (noun जैसा काम)
- Swimming is fun 🏊
Participle → verb + ing / V3
- Running water 💧
- Broken glass 🪟

👉 Examples:

She likes to dance 💃
Playing cricket is fun
He has finished his work

👉 यहाँ:

Structure Formula:

As object: Subject + Finite Verb + to + verb + …
As subject: To + verb + … + Finite Verb

Infinitive sentence formula:
- As object: Subject + Finite Verb + to + base verb + ...
- As subject: To + base verb + ... + Finite Verb + ...
- As purpose: Subject + Finite Verb + ... + to + base verb

Both types are used daily in English and Hindi. Practice identifying the finite verb (changes with time/person) vs. the infinitive (always “to + verb”, no tense).
