📘 Conditional Sentences (शर्त वाले वाक्य)

Conditional sentences वे वाक्य होते हैं जिनमें एक शर्त (Condition) और एक परिणाम (Result) होता है।
अक्सर इनकी शुरुआत if (अगर / यदि) से होती है।

🟢 1️⃣ Zero Conditional (सामान्य सत्य)

📌 Explanation (समझाइए):

Zero conditional का प्रयोग universal truth (सार्वभौमिक सत्य), scientific facts (वैज्ञानिक तथ्य), और habits (आदत) बताने के लिए होता है।
इसमें जो condition है, वह हमेशा true होती है।

🔹 Formula:

If + Present Simple, Present Simple

🔟 Examples:

1. If you heat water, it boils.
   अगर तुम पानी गर्म करते हो, तो वह उबलता है।
2. If you mix red and blue, you get purple.
   अगर तुम लाल और नीला मिलाते हो, तो बैंगनी मिलता है।
3. If the sun sets, it becomes dark.
   अगर सूरज डूबता है, तो अंधेरा हो जाता है।
4. If you don’t water plants, they die.
   अगर तुम पौधों को पानी नहीं देते, तो वे मर जाते हैं।
5. If ice melts, it turns into water.
   अगर बर्फ पिघलती है, तो पानी बन जाती है।
6. If you exercise, you stay fit.
   अगर तुम व्यायाम करते हो, तो स्वस्थ रहते हो।
7. If babies are hungry, they cry.
   अगर बच्चे भूखे होते हैं, तो रोते हैं।
8. If you press this button, the machine starts.
   अगर तुम यह बटन दबाते हो, तो मशीन चालू हो जाती है।
9. If metal gets hot, it expands.
   अगर धातु गर्म होती है, तो फैलती है।
10. If you study, you learn.
    अगर तुम पढ़ते हो, तो सीखते हो।

🟢 2️⃣ First Conditional (संभव भविष्य)

📌 Explanation:

First conditional का प्रयोग भविष्य में होने वाली संभव घटना के लिए किया जाता है।
Condition real होती है और उसका परिणाम भविष्य में होगा।

🔹 Formula:

If + Present Simple, will + V1

🔟 Examples:

1. If it rains, I will stay home.
   अगर बारिश होगी, तो मैं घर पर रहूँगा।
2. If you work hard, you will pass.
   अगर तुम मेहनत करोगे, तो पास हो जाओगे।
3. If she calls me, I will answer.
   अगर वह मुझे कॉल करेगी, तो मैं जवाब दूँगा।
4. If we hurry, we will catch the train.
   अगर हम जल्दी करेंगे, तो ट्रेन पकड़ लेंगे।
5. If they invite us, we will go.
   अगर वे हमें बुलाएँगे, तो हम जाएंगे।
6. If you don’t eat, you will feel weak.
   अगर तुम खाना नहीं खाओगे, तो कमजोर महसूस करोगे।
7. If he studies, he will succeed.
   अगर वह पढ़ेगा, तो सफल होगा।
8. If I see her, I will tell her.
   अगर मैं उसे देखूँगा, तो उसे बताऊँगा।
9. If you save money, you will buy a car.
   अगर तुम पैसे बचाओगे, तो कार खरीदोगे।
10. If the match starts late, we will wait.
    अगर मैच देर से शुरू होगा, तो हम इंतजार करेंगे।

🟢 3️⃣ Second Conditional (काल्पनिक वर्तमान / भविष्य)

📌 Explanation:

Second conditional का प्रयोग कल्पना, असंभव या कम संभावना वाली स्थिति के लिए होता है।
यह present या future की unreal situation बताता है।

👉 इसमें “were” का प्रयोग अक्सर किया जाता है (If I were…).

🔹 Formula:

If + Past Simple, would + V1

🔟 Examples:

1. If I were rich, I would help the poor.
   अगर मैं अमीर होता, तो गरीबों की मदद करता।
2. If I had wings, I would fly.
   अगर मेरे पंख होते, तो मैं उड़ता।
3. If she knew the answer, she would tell us.
   अगर उसे उत्तर पता होता, तो वह हमें बताती।
4. If I won the lottery, I would travel the world.
   अगर मैं लॉटरी जीतता, तो दुनिया घूमता।
5. If he studied, he would pass.
   अगर वह पढ़ता, तो पास हो जाता।
6. If we lived near the sea, we would swim daily.
   अगर हम समुद्र के पास रहते, तो रोज तैरते।
7. If you tried, you would succeed.
   अगर तुम कोशिश करते, तो सफल हो जाते।
8. If I were you, I would apologize.
   अगर मैं तुम्हारी जगह होता, तो माफी मांगता।
9. If it snowed, we would build a snowman.
   अगर बर्फ गिरती, तो हम स्नोमैन बनाते।
10. If they invited me, I would go.
    अगर वे मुझे बुलाते, तो मैं जाता।

🟢 4️⃣ Third Conditional (बीता हुआ असंभव)

📌 Explanation:

Third conditional का प्रयोग बीते हुए समय की असंभव स्थिति के लिए होता है।
अक्सर regret (पछतावा) व्यक्त करने के लिए।

🔹 Formula:

If + had + V3, would have + V3

🔟 Examples:

1. If I had studied, I would have passed.
   अगर मैंने पढ़ाई की होती, तो पास हो गया होता।
2. If she had called me, I would have answered.
   अगर उसने मुझे कॉल किया होता, तो मैं जवाब देता।
3. If we had left early, we would have caught the train.
   अगर हम जल्दी निकलते, तो ट्रेन पकड़ लेते।
4. If he had worked hard, he would have succeeded.
   अगर उसने मेहनत की होती, तो सफल हो जाता।
5. If they had invited us, we would have gone.
   अगर उन्होंने हमें बुलाया होता, तो हम जाते।
6. If you had listened to me, you would have avoided the mistake.
   अगर तुमने मेरी बात सुनी होती, तो गलती से बच जाते।
7. If I had known the truth, I would have told you.
   अगर मुझे सच पता होता, तो मैं तुम्हें बताता।
8. If she had tried, she would have won.
   अगर उसने कोशिश की होती, तो जीत जाती।
9. If we had saved money, we would have bought a house.
   अगर हमने पैसे बचाए होते, तो घर खरीद लेते।
10. If he had come on time, he would have met the teacher.
    अगर वह समय पर आया होता, तो शिक्षक से मिल लेता।

जब condition और result अलग-अलग समय (past + present) में हों।

   अगर मैंने मेडिकल पढ़ा होता, तो आज डॉक्टर होता।

6. If I had listened to you, I would not be in trouble.
7. If she had practiced more, she would play well now.
8. If we had planned properly, we would not be confused.
9. If he had left early, he would be here now.
10. If I had chosen science, I would work in a lab now.
