• Used for actions that started in the past and are still continuing in the present, or have just stopped but have present results.
• Structure: Subject + has been / have been + verb + ing + object + since/for + time.
• Has been → with he, she, it, singular nouns
• Have been → with I, you, we, they, plural nouns
• Negative: Subject + has not been / have not been + verb+ing.
• Interrogative: Has / Have + subject + been + verb+ing + object?
• Often used with: for (duration), since (starting point), lately, recently, all day/week.
