Superlative Degree of Adverbs

Rule 1 – Short Adverbs (fast, hard, late, early)

Structure: Subject + Verb + the + Adverb + -est

Examples

1. She runs the fastest. (वह सबसे तेज दौड़ती है।)
2. He works the hardest. (वह सबसे मेहनत से काम करता है।)
3. I arrived the earliest. (मैं सबसे पहले पहुँचा।)
4. She came the latest. (वह सबसे देर से आई।)
5. He jumped the highest. (वह सबसे ऊँचा कूदा।)
6. She finished the soonest. (उसने सबसे जल्दी खत्म किया।)
7. He shouted the loudest. (वह सबसे ज़ोर से चिल्लाया।)

Rule 2 – Adverbs ending in “-ly”

Structure: Subject + Verb + the most + Adverb
